Rs one lakh robbed from Afghan traders

A gang of dacoits looted around Rs one lakh in cash and valuables from a house rented to Afghan fruit traders in Chandni Chowk area of central Kolkata, the police said today.
The gang of four raided the house last night and looted Rs 80,000 in cash and valuables worth around Rs 20,000.
A case has been filed in Bowbazaar police station and investigation has started. The police were also looking into the CCTV footage of the area.
