"RSP's contention that CPI(M) has unilaterally taken over the Kollam LS seat is baseless. CPI(M) has been contesting the in the last three elections," LDF convener Vaikom Viswan told reporters after a meeting of the coalition's state committee.
The party's argument that CPI(M) and CPI had acted unilaterally in seat allocation was not correct. The party had held bilateral discussions with RSP, he said here.
He said certain RSP leaders had sacrificed Left-oriented politics and programmes of that party to secure their narrow interests. The rank and file of that party would reject this stand, Viswan said.
