Armed miscreants today decamped with Rupees nine lakh from a branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB) at a village in Bihar's Aurangabad district, a police officer said.
Four miscreants barged into the PNB branch at Mohiuddipur village and looted the money after forcing the bank employees to open the cash box at gun point, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Javed Anwar said.
The miscreants escaped with the booty on two bikes, he said.
Anwar said that the border areas of Aurangabad district have been sealed and raids were being carried out to nab the culprits.
