Rural Agri Ventures offers reefer solutions for perishables

Agri start-up firm Rural Agri Ventures today said it is offering customised refrigerated vehicles or reefer solutions 'mr. KOOL' for perishable commodities on major routes across the country.
The Gurgaon-based firm said the GPS-enabled reefer vehicles can maintain temperatures ranging from -25 to 25 degree celsius and can carry everything from ice creams, fruits, vegetables to floriculture and medicines.
"We're happy that reefer business has gained significant traction - whilst on the social impact front, in less than five months of operations mr. KooL has already saved 41,86,000 kgs of food from rotting," Rural Agri Ventures Managing Director and CEO Girish Aivalli said in a statement.

The vehicles are certified by food safety regulator FSSAI. The company provides online tracking for its customers along with E-POD availability, the statement added.
