S K Mittal sworn in as Lokpal of Punjab

Punjab Governor and Chandigarh UT Administrator, V P Singh Badnore today administered the oath of office and secrecy to Justice S K Mittal as Lokpal of Punjab.
The ceremony was held at Punjab Raj Bhawan in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, an official release said.
Among other prominent dignitaries who attended swearing in ceremony included Speaker Punjab Assembly, Charanjeet Singh Atwal, Punjab Cabinet Minister Tota Singh and Rajya Sabha MP Balwinder Singh Bhunder.
Mittal was a former Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.
