S K Sarkar appointed Secretary, Water Resources Ministry

Sarkar, a 1979 batch officer of West Bengal cadre, is presently Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel And Training.

He will succeed Dhruv Vijai Singh, IAS (MT:76), who retires on January 31.
