S Venkataramana takes additional charge as MD, CPCL

Indian Oil Group company Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd today said its Director (Operations) S Venkataramana has taken additional charge of Managing Director with immediate effect.
"A S Basu, Managing Director, CPCL ceased to be a director on Board of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd effective May 31, 2014, on attaining the age of superannuation", Chennai based CPCL said in a BSE filing.
"S Venkataramana, Director (Operations), CPCL has taken additional charge of Managing Director, CPCL with effect from June 1, 2014", it said.
Shares of the company closed up by 1.89 per cent at Rs 94.15 apiece at BSE.
