"My name is Radha: The Essential Manto", an edition of stories which delves deep into the creative world of Manto has been translated by Muhammad Umar Memon, a Professor Emeritus of Urdu literature and Islamic studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
"The critic and translator has compiled Manto's best known stories along with those less talked about in the book," publishers Penguin Random House said today.
Manto is considered one of the most widely read short story writer in Urdu. A pre-eminent practitioner of the genre, he produced 22 collections of short stories.
