Sabarmatee to get 3rd Shambhavi Puraskar

Sabarmatee of Nayagarh district in Odisha has been selected for the prestigious 3rd 'Shambhavi Puraskar' for her contribution towards social work.
This award, instituted by Bansidhra & Ila Panda foundation (BIPF), the CSR wing of IMFA, aims at recognising excellent and innovative contribution by upcoming social workers, thereby encouraging more citizens to act as a agents of change, a release from the foundation said today.
The Shambhavi Puraskar, which carries a citation and a cash award of Rs 2.5 lakh, is scheduled to be presented at a function to be held here on March 31.
Sabarmatee began her journey of serving the interests of Nature & Humanity in Nayagarh district, Odisha with a strong academic foundation in Economics and Rural Development, the release said.

On his return to Sirsa, while addressing a throng of
ecstatic fans, Saint Insan said that he was happy that the idea of cinema for social change has taken firm roots, and people are transforming their lives by quitting drugs and alcohol. The campaign to use films for bringing change amongst the youth will march on with a renewed vigour after this recognition.
