Additional District Sessions judge Narender Kumar also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on 40-year-old Mahant Ompuri after holding him guilty under section 302 (murder) of IPC in the case relating to the murder of Anshu.
The court ordered that the convict would pay Rs. 20,000 from the fine amount to the victim's family.
According to prosecution lawyer Narender Sharma, Anshu, a student of class X, was brought by the convict from his house at Ghanshyampura village under Ratenpuri police station in the district on November 4, 2013 and the next day his body was found on the outskirt of the village.
