General Manager (Marketing-Long Products) K B Sundar said that SAIL's latest range of structural have been well accepted across the country due to their extensive scope for a variety of applications.
It is expected that SAIL's newly developed value-added seismic-grade rebar - SAIL TMT 500S - for use in critical applications like metro rail, industrial projects and highrises in highly earthquake-prone areas would similarly make its mark due to its higher tensile strength and other superior qualities, he added.
12 major customers of SAIL in the eastern region, including RITES, Bridge & Roof, L&T MMH, BBJ, WBSEDCL, Lahmeyer India, Simplex Infra Structures, Wadia Techno Engg Services, Lloyds Insulations, Tata Growth Shop, M N Dastur and Co and KMC were present.
