Kashyap, who was 11th in the previous rankings, has 51986.6900 points and is the only Indian in the top-25 of the BWF list.
Among other prominent players, rising woman player P V Sindhu, rose a rung to 16th with 43116.8667 points.
In the men's list, the next Indian after Kashyap is Ajay Jayaram at the 31st spot.
Jayaram dropped one position in the latest rankings with 37692.0000 points.
