The 27-year-old keeper from Midnapore has signed a three-year contract with the club, who had put up a commendable performance under United Sports Cub, including a Man of the Match performance against Salgaocar FC in I-League tournament 2013-14.
"I am thrilled and very excited to have received an offer from Salgaocar FC. I am looking to give my best and hopefully my performances on the pitch will justify the trust Salgaocar have imposed in me," Das said in a statement today.
The player had signed his first professional contract at the age of 23 for Kolkata based Southern Samity and represented the club for 3 years.
Abhijit will team up with formidable goalkeeper Karanjit Singh of Salgaocar FC for the upcoming tournaments, media manager Rahul Rodrigues said.
