The win has boosted their confident and they are looking for a second win against Mohammedan Sporting, who are low on confidence after losing against Pune FC.
Salgaocar coach Derrick Pereira said the long break has helped his players to regain from injuries.
The boys are looking good and are all geared up for the challenge against the Kolkata side, which has experienced foreigners and also Indian players, and are expecting a tough fight.
"We have finishing problem, but that is sorted out and both Darryl Duffy and Claude Gnakpa are looking forward to give a tough time to rival defenders, which is manned by former Salgaocar defender Luciano Soborsa," he said.
Sporting, the Durand Cup Champion, failed to get the right start losing to Pune FC and are looking forward for their first win.
