The 23-year-old "La La La" hitmaker was spotted getting close to a mystery man at Kylie Minogue's gig in London, but the singer has rubbished all the rumours, reported the Mirror.
The twosome were pictured cosying up in the VIP area during the British Summer Time festival.
However, during his gig at Portugal's NOS Alive festival, the "Stay with me" singer clarified his relationship status.
"Things have gone completely out of control over the past two years and it's so vital for me to remind myself how I wrote these songs every day," he told his fans.
