SAP launches enterprise solutions for govt, corporate

Enterprise solutions giant SAP today launched a new suite of solutions that will help enterprises and government agencies predict, plan and execute business decisions in a simplified manner.
The SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (SAP S/4 HANA) has been designed with a significant part of inputs coming from the German firm's India Labs, which is the third largest globally after Germany and the US.
"The solution will enable customers in India run their business in a simple manner in a digital and networked world. It is built on SAP HANA, which offers advanced in-memory computing and offers an immersive experience on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets as well," SAP India Managing Director Ravi Chauhan told reporters here.

He added that SAP Labs India contributed towards the development of the core architecture, user experience, applications and platform for S/4 HANA.

PAT grows by 33 per cent YoY in the first nine months * Salzer Electronics Ltd, a leading manufacturer of rotary switches and wiring ducts in India, has recorded its net sales growth by 14 per cent to Rs.67.43 crore in third quarter of the current financial year compared to Rs.58.96 crore in 2013-14.

According to its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014, the company said EBITDA came at Rs.7.84 crore in Q3FY15 in comparison with Rs.7.91 crore in the same quarter last year.

Net sales grew by 15 per cent to Rs 200.38 crore in the first nine months of the fiscal, as against Rs.174.13 crore during last fiscal. EBITDA grew by 17 per cent to Rs.25.91 crore in this fiscal in comparison with Rs.22.21 crore in the same period last year, it said.
Net profit has grown by 33 per cent to Rs. 8.62 crore in this financial year, as against Rs.6.49 crore in the last year.
