Sasha Alexander joining 'Shameless'
The 41-year-old actress is slated to appear in Shameless in a multi-episode guest arc, reported Deadline.
Alexander has been cast as Lip's (Jeremy Allen White) sexy and wild college professor Helene.
Her high-profile television credits include playing forensic expert Maura Isles in 'Rizzoli & Isles', and portraying Secret Service agent Caitlin Todd in 'NCIS'.
'Shameless' was renewed back in February for a fifth season.
