Saurabh Vijay appointed Adviser to World Bank ED

IAS officer Saurabh Vijay was today appointed as Adviser to Executive Director of World Bank in Washington.
Vijay, a 1998 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, is presently working at President Secretariat here.
He has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of taking over charge of the post, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
Vijay will be replacing Anuradha Thakur there.
