It was an easy outing for world No 20 Ghoshal who outplayed Vrishab Kotiyan of Maharashtra to post a facile, 11-3 11-3 11-8 to storm into semis.
Ghoshal will now take on promising youngster Ravi Dixit in the last four encounter. Dixit had to exert a bit to ward off Gaurav Nandrajog of Delhi 11-9 15-13 11-9. The third seeded Mahesh Mangaonkar made it to the last four by beating Sandeep Jhangra in straight games.
In women's section, Joshna proved too strong for local girl Nandika. The world number 27 thrashed Nandika 11-2 11-4 11-4 to set up semi-final clash with Janet Vidhi who beat Rajasthan's Tarunima 11-6 11-2 11-8.
