State Bank of Hyderabad has allocated Rs 10 crore towards its corporate social responsibility programmes for this financial year, its Managing Director Santanu Mukherjee said.

"The bank has allocated Rs 10 crore towards CSR programmes to take up social activities in the current financial year," Mukherjee said at a function here yesterday.

On the occasion, he presented 100 traffic barricades to Vijayawada Traffic Police.

He said previously the bank had provided 200 such traffic barricades to the city police as part of the social responsibility of the bank.

The bank also contributes funds for ambulances, school vans, etc as a part of CSR, he said.

The bank had also contributed to Chief Minister's relief funds for Uttarakhand, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh last year, when the three states suffered natural calamities, he added.
