Directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed the 30-year-old actress' involvement in the film, reported MTV online.
'Captain America: The First Avenger' released in 2011, followed by 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' in 2014. Actor Chris Evans played the titular role in both the films.
