Addressing a press conference here today, Suresh Sonthalia, President of SCCI, said the relief materials comprising of medicines, clothes, blankets etc worth around Rs 15 lakh will be sent to the affected families in Nepal.
The relief materials will be sent to Nepal tomorrow or day after from here, he said.
SCCI also in discussion with Indo-Danish Tool Room (IDTR) to provide skilled training to educated unemployed tribal youths as the Kolhan region comprised of East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan district, an Industrial hub of Jharkhand in need of huge skilled manpower.
