"The next edition of JLF will take place during January 21 to January 25 at the historical Diggi palace," Festival Co-director Namita Gokhale said here.
"We will try to shift the festival a week ahead next time due to the cold weather during this time," Co-director William Dalrymple had said earlier during the festival.
The annual five-day festival, which has become a major calendar event for the literary world since its inception in 2005 has witnessed an increase of 25 per cent in the footfall in comparison to the recent editions.
Authors and speakers discussed issues like international relations, history, environment, the human nature, regional literature, Art, Photography, Bollywood, theatre and travel living up to its claim of "Something for Everyone."
On the Festival's penultimate day, activists of a Rajput outfit entered its venue and protested against the presence of filmmaker Ekta Kapoor, objecting to the title of her TV serial 'Jodha Akbar', which they claimed presented their culture in bad light.
