The matter relates to the fire tragedy that occurred on July 16, 2004 at Sri Krishna School and Saraswathi Nursury School compounds where 94 children and a teacher were killed and 16 seriously injured.
Tamil Nadu government had granted a compensation of Rs 50,000 to each of the victims' families.
Challenging the government's decision, the father of one of the victims had moved the court, seeking more compensation as well as action against the officials concerned for their 'negligence' in approving permission to run the schools.
The Commission today handed over the report in a sealed Cover to the HC's Registrar General.
