SCI signs pact with Fidelity Shipping Corporation, Liberia

The country's largest ship liner Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has entered into an agreement with Fidelity Shipping Corporation, Liberia, for acquisition of one used suezmax tanker.
"SCI has signed MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) with Fidelity Shipping Corporation, Liberia for acquisition of one secondhand suezmax tanker, having deadweight of about 1,58,710 tons," the company said in a BSE filing today.

ALT Balaji,ACT Fibernet join hands for video on demand service * Digital platform of Balaji Telefilms ALT Balaji has tied-up with non-telco internet service provider ACT Fibernet to distribute its subscription video on demand service (SVOD).
Under the agreement, "ACT Fibernet's customers will now be able to subscribe ALT Balaji SVOD service as part of their broadband package and pay for the service through a unified bill every month," ALT Balaji said in a BSE filing today.
Users can subscribe by selecting ALT Balaji as the value added service on ACT Fibernet's website.
GE Power India bags Rs 237 cr order
* GE Power India has bagged an order worth Rs 237.6 crore from GE Power AG for supply of 150 MW CFB boiler and electrostatic precipitator components.
"GE Power India Ltd has been awarded a contract worth approximately INR 2,376 million (i.E. Approximately USD 35.4 million) by GE Power AG to supply 1 x 150 MW CFB Boiler and Electrostatic Precipitator Components," GE Power India said in a BSE filing today.
According to the statement, the company's scope of work consists of supply of CFB boiler components including steel structure, pressure parts, all auxiliaries, duct work, refractory, electrical and instrumentation, etc.

Ola to expand 'Ola Bike' service in Faridabad * Cab aggregator app Ola today said it will scale up its bike taxi service -- Ola Bike -- in Faridabad up to 500 vehicles over the next few months.
Ola Bike -- which is available in Gurgaon and Jaipur as well -- currently has over 800 bikes are attached to the platform.
"With the launch of Ola bike, Ola is addressing last-mile connectivity by enabling reliable mobility in one of the leading industrial centres in North India," Ola said in a statement.
The company plans to onboard more than 500 bikes in the next few months, it added.
"We are thrilled to bring Ola Bike in Faridabad, one of the key industrial hub of Haryana and an important part of National Capital Region," Ola Business Head North Deep Singh said.
Ola Bike have been made available in Faridabad at Rs 5 per kilometer with Rs 20 as base fare for first 3 kms.

Idea to offer upto 10GB data for Rs 100 under new offer * Telecom firm Idea Cellular has launched a 'Data Jackpot' offer for its postpaid customers to offer upto 10GB data per month for first three months.
The offer can be availed by all postpaid customers through My Idea App at a nominal rental of Rs 100, it said in a statement.
Customers opting for this offer will get a minimum of 1GB to a jackpot of 10GB Data per month, for first three months.
"As an additional benefit to customers availing the offer, Idea will continue to give 1GB Data at Rs 100 per month, after three months also," it said without specifying any other detail.
The data benefit may vary based on the network available in the circle, it said.

Home Credit launches app for loan instalments * Non-banking financial firm Home Credit today launched its mobile application on Android platform that will enable customers to view their loan details as well as repay through it.
"The mobile app is a major step in our journey of introducing seamless and innovative digital solutions to customers. As a responsible lending institution, we are committed to promoting financial inclusion by leveraging technology," Home Credit India Chief Marketing Officer Tomas Hrdlicka said in a statement.
Home Credit offers small ticket size loans which consists of providing in-store financing to qualified customers looking to purchase consumer durable goods such as mobile phones, home appliances, laptop, electronic goods and two-wheelers.
The app will offer information on amount due and payment date of loans as well as flexibility to either repay loan completely or in small instalments.
