In a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Scindia said that he came to know that the MP state government has written a letter to private nursing homes directing them not to discuss swine flu.
"I failed to understand the logic behind it," he said.
Scindia said that the disease has assumed dangerous proportions and so far death toll because of the dreaded H1N1 virus has reached 60.
Besides, adequate stock of medicines, masks and other required material should be provided to hospitals, he said.
Scindia also urged the Chief Minister to direct medical officers and other staff to ensure that required medicines and other facilities were available in their respective hospitals.
He also said that he will raise the issue with Union Health Minister J P Nadda soon.
