A 25-year-old man allegedly killed hisfather who frequently reprimanded him for being jobless, a police official said Monday.
The accused, Rajendra Tadvi, and his fatherRamsingh Tadvi (45), residents of Simaliyavillage in Gujarat's Vadodara district, used to have frequent quarrels as the former was not working to sustain his livelihood, he said.
The duo again had a tiff Sunday following which the accused hit his father with a wooden plank, killing him on the spot, the official said.
The accused was arrested and booked under IPC section 302 (murder) and other relevant provisions after his mother registered an offence against him at the Dabhoi police station, he said.
