SDO in vigilance net for accepting Rs 5,000 bribe

A sub divisional officer was today arrested by the Haryana State Vigilance Bureau allegedly for taking a bribe of Rs 5,000, an official spokesperson said.
Ramjanam, SDO Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam in Ismailabad in district of Kurukshetra, had accepted the bribe from one Daljeet Singh, the spokesperson said.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act against the SDO.
