"We have conducted search operation in few villages here to see movement of any suspects or any wrong person living in these areas," Pathankot SSP Rakesh Kaushal said here today.
However, he said it is a precautionary measure in the wake of recent terror activities in Jammu region.
"We are extra vigilant to thwart attempt of any terror activity in our area," he asserted.
A large number of Punjab police cops were deployed in border villages to carry out search operation.
