Sebi invites bids for maintenance, security of Lucknow office

Markets regulator Sebi has invited bids from independent agencies to provide staffers for maintenance and security of its local office in Lucknow.
In separate notices, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has listed out the responsibilities of the respective agencies.
With regard to the staffing agency, Sebi said that it will be responsible for overall maintenance of the office premises and provide the services of outsourced staff such as receptionist cum data entry operator, office assistant and housekeeping staff.
The security agency will be responsible for "manning the office premises round the clock by regulating, monitoring and recording the entry of all persons, materials and vehicles coming in and going out of the premises wherever necessary", Sebi said.
The agencies having provided similar services to PSUs, financial institutions and autonomous bodies during the last seven years can submit their bids.
Among other requirements, the agencies should have a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 4 lakh during last three years and should have operations in Lucknow, it said.
The interested agencies can send their applications within 15 days.
