Mahak defeated Akansha Bhan of Gujrat. The first set was taken by Mahak 7-5, but Akansha Bhan made a strong comeback taking the second set 6-4. It ultimately boiled down to the 3rd set which saw Mahak winning with ease. The match finally ended in Mahak's 7-5, 6-4, 6-3.
In another women's encounter Humera Shaikh from Andhra Pradesh, who had ousted top seed Satwika Sama in quarterfinals, made her way to the finals in another three setter. Humera lost the first set 2-6, but made a comeback by winning the subsequent sets 6-2, 6-3 to win the match.
The second quarterfinals in the men0's category saw Manish Sureshkumar of Tamil Naidu defeat Alex Solanki from Delhi. Manish took the first set 6-3 but dropped the next 3-6. He made a phenomenal comeback in the third set winning it 6-3.
