Select base metals drop of lower demand

Nickel, Tin and Zinc prices dropped at largely listless non-ferrous metal market here today on stockist selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.
While copper armature and lead edged up on mild offtake from consumer industries.
Nickel and Tin fell Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 750 and Rs 1,490 from Monday's close of Rs 760 and Rs 1,500, respectively.
Zinc slid by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 235 as against Rs 240 yesterday.
However, copper scrap heavy, copper armature and lead inched up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 385, Rs 378 and Rs 148, respectively.
