Select base metals fall on muted demand

Select base metal prices led by copper declined by Up to Rs 5 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.
Traders said tepid demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market led to decline in select copper and other base metal prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap fell by Rs 5 to Rs 376 per kg. Lead ingot and lead imported also traded lower by Rs 2 each to Rs 89 and Rs 95 per kg.
Zinc ingot too ended lower by a similar margin to Rs 105-111 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 105-111, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 842-847, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 376, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 89, lead imported Rs 95, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150.
