Select base metals gains on fresh demand

Select copper and lead prices gained in an otherwise lacklustre non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid fresh demand from consumer industries.
Copper utensils scrap rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 345 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 340.
Copper armiture and lead moved up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 377 and Rs 147 as against Rs 374 and Rs 144.
Copper sheet cutting also edged up by a Re per kg to Rs 371.
However, copper scrap heavy softened by a Re per kg to Rs 384.
