Select base metals prices gain on industrial demand

Led by tin, select copper, brass and aluminium prices moved up at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amidst consistent demand from industrial users.
The industrial metal fell at the LME from near two-week high as traders took to the sidelines ahead of Friday's US jobs report.
Tin shot-up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,350 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,345.
Aluminium ingots climbed by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 145 from Rs 142.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensil scrap, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting, brass sheet cutting and aluminium utensils all inched-up by a rupee per kg to Rs 488, Rs 479, Rs 444, Rs 516, Rs 464, Rs 336 and Rs 118, respectively.
However, lead softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 143.
