Select base metals soften on weak demand

Copper utensils, brass sheet cuttings and aluminium ingots softened at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidst weak demand from industrial users.
While, copper sheet cuttings edged up owing good demand from consuming industries.
Copper utensils, brass sheet cuttings and aluminium ingots edged down by a Re per kg each to Rs 340, Rs 304 and Rs 145 respectively.
However, copper sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 371.
