Select copra falls on weak demand, Black pepper rises

Copra Rajapur and copra edible prices fell at the spices market here today on poor stockist and retail demand on the back of higher arrivals from producing belts.
Black pepper rose on rising stockist and retail demand amidst better export offtake.
Rest of the spices held stable in the absence of any worthwhile trading.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai and copra edible Mumbai prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,300 and Rs 5,900 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,000, respectively.
Black pepper climbed by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 370/420 as against Rs 355/405 previously.
