Select grains firms up on increased offtake

Prices of select grains rose by up to Rs 20 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to increased offtake by consuming industries amid restricted supplies from producing regions.
Traders said increased offtake by consuming industries against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in select grains prices.
In the national capital, bajra and maize prices rose by Rs 10 and Rs 20 to Rs 1,610-1,615 and Rs 1,470-1,480 per quintal, respectively.
