Select metals firm up on mild demand

Zinc, lead, copper and aluminium prices edged up at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to modest buying support from stockists and industrial users.
Zinc gained by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 154 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 150 and copper sheet cuttings rose by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 358 as against Rs 356.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, alumium ingots, aluminium utensils and lead inched up by Rs 367, Rs 361, Rs 131, Rs 110, Rs 124 respectively.
However, copper utensils and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 341 and Rs 274 respectively.
