Select oils remain up on increased millers buying

Select edible oils remained up and prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on increased buying by vanaspati millers on a firming global trend.
However, non-edible oils remained steady in limited deals.
Marketmen said increased buying by vanaspati millers for the marriage season amid a firming global mainly kept select edible oil prices higher.
Meanwhile, palm oil for April delivery advanced 0.8 per cent to USD 766 a tonne at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils gained Rs 50 each to Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,000 per quintal, respectively.

Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 7,300 and Rs 7,000 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,800, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,950-2,000, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,350, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,280-1,360, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,365-1,465, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,500, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,300, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,000, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,100, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,100, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,400, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,000, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,380-1,430.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,300-9,400, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
