Traders said sufficient stocks position in the market after the government took measures to curb rising prices and fall in demand from retailers at current levels, kept pressure on select pulses prices.
Meanwhile, with pulses still ruling as high as Rs 200 per kg, the government on wednesday said it is taking several measures to boost domestic output and imports, besides taking action against hoarders to control rates.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,250-6,550 and Rs 6,300-6,600 per quintal. Its best quality local dal traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 6,800-7,300 and Rs 6,900-7,400 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety followed suit and declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,900 and Rs 11,700-13,400 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local too finished lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,300-11,800 and Rs 10,600-10,700 per quintal.
Its dal best quality and dhoya enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 10,700-11,200 and Rs 11,100-11,400 per quintal.

Masoor (small) at Rs 6,250-6,550 and masoor (bold) at Rs 6,300-6,600, dal masoor (local) at Rs 6,800-7,300 and dal masoor (best quality) at Rs 6,900-7,400, malka (local) at Rs 7,300-7,600 and malka (best quality) at Rs 7,400-7,700, moth at Rs 5,500-5,900, arhar Rs 8,900, dal arhar dara at Rs 11,700-13,400.
