An alert sentry Saturday evening fired some rounds after observing suspicious movement near a police installation in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
A sentry suspected some suspicious movement this evening at district police lines Shopian in south Kashmir, a police spokesman said.
He said the alert sentry "retaliated and the terrorists fled".
