Services export up 1.72 pc in November

India's services export grew by 1.72 per cent to USD 13.33 billion in November, according to the RBI data.
In October, the exports were declined by 4.79 per cent. Services import too rose by 8.37 per cent to USD 8.32 billion during November.
The trade balance in services (i.E. Net export) for November was estimated at USD 5 billion.
The net export of services for April-November 2016-17 was estimated at USD 42.80 million, which is lower than USD 46.7 billion in the same period previous year.
The services sector contributes about 55 per cent to the country's gross domestic product.
