ITC chairman Sanjiv Puri and other officials of the company met the chief minister here, an official press release said.

Sanjiv Puri disclosed that the construction of ITCs Rs 800-crore food processing plant at Manoharabad in Medak district was almost complete and the plant will go on stream in two or three months, it said.

Observing that his government aims to launch food processing units on a large-scale to enable the farmers or growers to get suitable price, Rao said that major players like the ITC should come forward in the endeavour.
