All seven passengers were killed when the van they were travelling in collided head-on with a bus on the western Philippine island of Palawan today, a police official said.
The van, which was carrying a group of friends, was leaving the island's capital Puerto Princesa while the bus was going in the opposite direction, said district police chief inspector Errol Adia.
An undetermined number of bus passengers suffered injuries but none of them were serious, he added.
Adia declined to identify the cause of the accident saying an investigation was on-going.
