Seven get life term for murdering property dealer

A court here today awarded life sentences to seven personsin connection with the murder of a property dealer in 2014.
The Hisar Additional District and Sessions Judge Ajay Prashar sentenced Vikas and Amar Singh, two of the accused, to rigorous imprisonment for seven years.
The other five convicted in the case are Dheerpal, Neeraj Poonia, Dinesh Poonia, Krishan Kumar and Vikram.
According to the prosecution, property dealer Sanjay Sharma, alias Bittu, was shot dead on January 24, 2014, at his office located in the Pushpa Complex, in Hisar.
The prosecution said it was the result of a dispute over money. On a complaint of Krishan Kumar Sharma, brother of deceased, a case was registered by the police for murder and criminal conspiracy under the provisions of the Arms Act against the accused.
