"The teenagers, all between 14 and 16 years, allegedly used to take the 16-year-old to a secluded place near an SRA project at D N Nagar and commit the crime," he said.
The matter came to light after the victim confided into his friend who works for an NGO.
After the NGO officials approached the D N Nagar police, a case was filed against the juveniles.
Police nabbed them from different locations yesterday, the official said.
They have been booked under sections 377 (unnatural offence) and 34 (act done by several persons in furtherance of common intentions) as well as relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, he said.
