Several NC, Cong workers join BJP in J-K's Samba district

Several National Conference (NC) and Congress workers today joined the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district in the presence of state minister Chander Parkash Ganga.
People, who were working with the NC and the Congress for the last 20 years, joined the BJP in the presence Jammu and Kashmir Industries and Commerce Minister Chander Parkash Ganga at a function in the district's Vijaypur belt, a party spokesman said.
Ganga welcomed the new entrants, saying it is due to the clean and good governance of the Narendra Modi government and the able leadership of chief Amit Shah that the BJP has become the single largest party in terms of primary membership.
"This has been possible as more and more people are putting their faith in the nationalist party," he said.
Ganga claimed that as an MLA and minister, he is making all efforts for the betterment of his constituency and the whole state.
He also shared his ideas on various government schemes and their implementation.
Those who joined the party assured the minister that they would work for the growth of the BJP and adhere by the party's principles.
Former panch Deru Ram, Bodh Raj, Banarsi Lal, Ghari Lal, Satpal, Kuldeep Raj, Surjeet Kumar, Vinod Kumari, Davinder Kumar, Angat Raj, Rahul Kumar, Anita Devi, Anuradha, Ayodhya Devi, Rattno Devi, Chanchlo Devi, Pushpa Devi were among the prominent persons who joined the BJP.
