In an otherwise steady market, shakkar prices hardened by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale Jaggery market at national capital today following paucity of stocks.
However, Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets ended quiet on sporadic buying.
Marketmen said tight stocks position mainly pushed up shakkar prices in Delhi.

Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,900-3,000, pedi 2,900-3,000, dhayya 3,000-3,100 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
