A shepherd, K Ramarao whose kids had gone missing for the past few months, found a python in his cattleshed beside which he also found five dead children.
He caught the snake with the help of locals and informed forest officials who took the python away.
The shepherd said that the snake had killed around 12 kids in the past two days.
